Dravya is a research and development lab for physical things, specifically for making them smaller, more sentient, and more self-sufficient than they have any right to be.

We work at the seam between sensing and miniaturization: full payment terminals compressed toward a single card's thickness, pour spouts that audit a bar in real time, display typefaces engineered for 35 pixels. When the problem is software-shaped, we follow it there too: the same sense-decide-act-audit loop, running in a spreadsheet instead of a circuit.

We are based in Raipur, deliberately. R&D this hands-on needs a bench, a field site, and short loops between the two, not a famous pin code.

Operating principles

  1. Constraint is the brief.

    A credit-card footprint, 35 pixels per character, zero network, zero workflow change. The hard limit is where the interesting engineering starts.

  2. Prototype like you mean it.

    V1 is allowed to be ugly and thick. It is not allowed to be a render. Working hardware settles arguments that slide decks can’t.

  3. Measure everything.

    Every revision exists to move a named number. 84% → 99.4% is six revisions of refusing to guess.

  4. Watch before you build.

    Fifty hours behind a bar taught us more than any datasheet. The field is the spec.

  5. Ship the system.

    A sensor without its data layer is a paperweight. We deliver firmware, pipeline, and dashboard as one artifact.
